Kate Harwood is an experienced performer, songwriter and music educator from London. As a vocal coach Kate has successfully mentored students since 2005 including the winner of Capital FM’s Be A Star 2010. She has coached beginners and celebrity professionals alike, helping people discover singing and the joy that comes with it.
As a vocalist and pianist Kate has shared the stage with such greats as Roger Daltrey (The Who), Chris Difford (Squeeze), and Graham Gouldman (10cc). Kate co-founded East London Soul Singers, a community choir based in Stratford in 2009. Since then, the group has performed extensively nationwide, including two appearances at London’s Jazz Cafe.
Kate continues to cover sessions on MamaSing Loughton, and has provided some recordings on the members area of the website.
